Voice of the 7th Angel

SYNOPSIS

Am I the only one disturbed—distressed, often—at the Crisis of Confidence that pervades our reeling planet? Is it just my head that spins at all the bizarrerie that typifies our times? Generation X? What's that, where x is any variable that's politically correct or situationally convenient? Is there anyone out there that can tell me what in the world is going on—anyone I can trust, that is!?

My educators led me to believe we descended from apes, my President that he "did not have sex with that woman." Christians tell me they are Messiah's "chosen bride" and that the Jews have been divorced. Hal Lindsey, Jerry Jenkins & Tim LaHaye (among numerous other prophecy experts) say Christ is due any moment to rapture that bride; nearly all "fundamentalists" sing the same fanciful chorus.Which of them all, I wonder, might merit my confidence? Or who does?

The first couple chapters of "Voice of the 7th Angel" articulate this "crisis of confidence." By playing back ancient recordings of trusty timeless Bible voices, VO7A cuts to the core of resolving the crisis. Ever-so-popular best-selling myths about the End Times, the New World Order and an any-moment Messiah meet fierce challenges to their trumped-up, but very tenuous veracity.

Faithfully echoing the ancient resounding voices of the Hebrew clairvoyants of old, VO7A veers sharply off the beaten paths to embark on a fear-facing exploration of what the Prophets really had to say about our turbulent times, unmatched in all earth's history. Ours is the rough road that mainstream commercial "tour lines" would dare not discomfort their customers with. On our tour, we penetrate the Bible's "backwoods" to brave a raw view of more than just the ballyhooed, popularized "signs of the times," and instead explore the dreaded times of the signs! What the Hebrew seers foretold about the much hailed New World Order to come is dug up & uncovered. And we lay bare their starkly stated disagreements with the fashionable hype of the faddish Rapturists who contradictorily claim The End can come at any moment and that Christians are exempt from the unparalled Tribulation it will bring. A riveting stop at the historic marker of The Last 7 Years of humanism on Earth readily rebuts any such anticlimactic, escapist conclusions about the End Time.

The central chapters, and the heart and soul of VO7A, draw an unflinching focus on the final global hour of temptation and testing. This is a dour travail foretold for all the world, and includes another, more sweeping Holocaust to come—the international "cultural cleansing" of the infidel dissidents (Christians too this time) who refuse "correctness" and conformity to apostate ego politics.

Global Big Brotherism, Antichrist empowered by extraterrestrials, high technology and genetically engineered cures for just about everything, including death, are visited in our quest for truth. Successful in squelching truth, the flying Serpent gets "elected" to the office of Supreme Being, ousting YHWH (Yahweh) of the Bible by the not-so-secret ballot of the universal Mark of the Beast. The ensuing cruel and harsh fate of the enduring saints who do not faint under the pressure of the new order is highlighted in VO7A. The focus is intended to urge unfeigned preparation to meet this destiny—with a sense of courage uncharacteristic of neo-traditional Fundamentalism.

One-world religion? Forget religious opiates, superstition and myth! How about becoming gods in our own right?—via the vehicle of luciferian "high science" (& upon the totalitarian expressway paved with political correctness and dialectical democracy). The various tour stops in our back-to-the-future expedition of the Bible's prophetic landscape include: Incredible high-tech marvels, UFOs and aliens (since Genesis), utopia on Earth, the soon-to-rage controversy of Jerusalem, the anti-Israel Armageddon Alliance, titanic deep space combats, asteroid impacts, fiery hails of flaming meteors, Wormwood, doomsday Krakatoa, tsunamis, tectonic mega-catastrophes, our 20th century skyscraper civilization crashing, demonic genetic mutants, the coming solar supernova, super-storms, super heroes, supercomputers, humans served for supper, and the equestrian future of ultramodern hi-tech warfare.

The Hebrews wrote the headline events of our generation two millennia ago (some far beyond that), and VO7A cites and examines their various stunning predictions throughout with extensive referencing and footnoting. The final headline is heralded by the Seventh Angel when his trumpet blast finalizes the cataclysmic transformation of Planet Earth from a grossly mismanaged and perishing world of willful human-alien wickedness to a theocratic utopia of Messianic peace, prosperity, and the pursuit of happiness.

In its final chapters, VO7A's tour wraps up with an unsettling status report. Where we are on Generation Finale's expiring time line is accompanied by an uncompromising challenge to abandon conceited Christian neo-traditionalism, its rationalized wantonness, and its presumptuously complacent unpreparedness.

Is all the apocalyptic speculation believable? Millions say it is, at least they loudly profess to believe it. Yet, what are they doing about it? In fact, what does anyone who truly believes it do about it? Well, here is where actions speak louder than words and true believers get separated from nominal pretenders, and true preparation is distinguished from farce and fantasy.

Voice of the 7th Angel was written in dedication to the positive bracing of its readers for the most calamitous and trying era mankind will ever experience! And frankly, though I too get anxious to hear the rescuing voice of the Seventh Angel, I must admit the portent of my own book leaves me feeling like Peter before the cock crowed. Perhaps you'll understand why from reading it for yourself. I truly hope you will.
